The menu-related things that turn up the in preferences search seem to apply to menus in general. Apparently the configuration search is limited to this level of preferences and doesn't get down to menu editing itself.

Maybe there should be a link from the Look and Feel admin page's menu config section to the admin-menus page. But the location of site header setup is changing to modules in Tiki 7 so maybe that arrangement should be checked for use friendliness - the new flexibility will be a challenge, I'm sure ;-) .
